Port Stephens U3A

Third age learning … by the sea

Port Stephens Third Age Learning is an association of people linked by the desire to teach and learn.

It is a social group focusing on intellectual stimulation for retirees or semi-retired.

It is learning for fun and enjoyment.

A variety of interesting sessions and events: astronomy, drawing, poetry, music, books, bowls, photography, computers, history, languages, excursions, board games, brain games, discussion, fitness class, guest speakers and bushwalks.

Annual fee is $30 which covers all sessions. There are no exams or written assignments!

All sessions held at the TOMAREE LIBRARY & COMMUNITY CENTRE, Salamander Bay, Port Stephens

Sessions are only conducted when the Library Centre is open

Excursions usually involving a coach trip to fascinating places in our region – typically a day return.

Occasionally a special three day excursion is organised – and a fee is payable to cover the coach hire cost. And, even more adventurous, sea cruises to extraordinary destinations.

Come along and make new friends!

Want to know more … come along to our CUPPA & CHAT on the first Wednesday afternoon of every month (except January), at the Tomaree Community Centre, Salamander Bay.
